What is Capitol Gains?
It is the value you receive over what you originally purchased the property for. If you paid $300,000.00 for a property and are now selling it for $500,000.00, you gain and you will pay taxes on $200,000.00.
What is a 1031 Exchange?
The 1031 Exchange allows you to buy another property and defer paying the tax on your capitol gains.
